Si no lo has visto, en octubre de 2021 hicimos un trato de 1.000.000 de dólares con Mark Cuban y Robert Herjavec en el episodio 4 de la temporada 13 del programa Shark Tank de la ABC.

Volamos a Los Ángeles, nos recogieron y nos llevaron a SONY Production. No sé qué esperábamos, pero era mucho más grande de lo que pensaba.
Shark Tank tiene la tradición de empezar cada presentación con una mirada de 90 segundos con los tiburones antes de la presentación, lo que parecía una eternidad. Sonó la campana indicando que debíamos empezar y presentamos nuestra propuesta y nuestra petición inicial.
Robert Herjavec soltó una carcajada al oír la valoración y así fue como empezamos nuestra contrapartida. Construí una cascada de propuestas de valor como el producto, el cliente y el tamaño del mercado, y así fue como empezamos nuestra negociación.
Después de 5-10 minutos, Mark Cuban hizo la primera oferta, luego todos los tiburones hicieron su primera oferta. Confiaban en que éramos buenos empresarios y conocíamos nuestro negocio a la perfección.

La conversación pasó de hablar de THEMAGIC5 como empresa de gafas de natación a hablar de THEMAGIC5 como empresa tecnológica. Pensamos que la experiencia del grupo de tiburones sería muy valiosa para nuestro desarrollo como empresa, ya que conocían a la perfección cómo llevar la tecnología a otros mercados distintos de la natación.
Hicieron sus segundas ofertas, y luego nos dieron la oportunidad de discutir nuestra contraoferta. Antes de irnos a discutirla, Robert Herjavec se levantó y ofreció un millón de dólares por el 6,5%. Nos pareció un gran trato y aceptamos.
55 minutos pasaron volando.
Después, Mark Cuban se puso en contacto con Robert Herjavec y le propuso que compartieran la operación al 50%. Ahora, tenemos dos nuevos inversores en Robert y Marc, cada uno con un 3,25%.
Hay muy pocos acuerdos con la valoración que recibió THEMAGIC5. Nos lo pasamos muy bien compartiendo nuestro amor por THEMAGIC5 con los Sharks. También nos hizo mucha ilusión contar a nuestras familias en Dinamarca que estaremos en la televisión estadounidense.

I have 3 grandchildren ages 6, 9 and 12. They have regular school swimming and private individual lessons.
I have seen google marks on their faces after half hour training sessions.
my question is: do you have specially fitted swim googles for children or is it one size fits all regardless of facial makeup.

Somewhat retired but formerly extremely competitive Ironman athlete with 5 Kona finishes and several Age group titles, looking forward to getting these!
I bought 3 pairs and have not looked back. I have a high bridge and find it hard to find a good fit plus as you get older the marks left around the eyes can last hours after a swim. After six months I enjoy the fit every time, have no issues with comfort, leaks or fogging up and no more marks around the eyes. Worth the investment.
Just purchased these goggles and I am looking forward to trying them out. I have been out of swimming after “retiring” from competitive swimming 35 years ago! It is amazing how things have not changed, except these goggles, since my departure. I look forward to using the goggles when they arrive as you all are producing the product as I type!
12:34 A.M. Thanks to my Coach, Marty Hendrick’s SFTL (Swim Fort Lauderdale) email, just finished reading about THEMAGIC goggles. Was impressed after watching the deal made with The Shark Tank’s Mark Cuban and Robert Herjavec. Definitely will order two goggles after completing this comment.
Love the concept and would like to try. However, I noticed that the people featured using the goggles all appear to be of European ancestry. How well do the measurements work for Asian faces?

That was cool. As a customer, I love my goggles and use them whenever I’m at the pool. These goggles are something that has been needed for some time. Thank you guys for bringing them to the masses.
