ABOUT SARAH

Sarah Kim Bonner is a long distance triathlete from a small, rural town in Canada. She didn't do any sports growing up but she started cycling with her dad when she was home from university. Six years later, she did her first triathlon, qualified for age group world champs at her first 70.3, and earned pro license a year later. In her third season racing pro, Sarah was hit by a car while riding her bike. It took six years, two major surgeries, and an army of help across 3 counties to get healthy. Between surgeries, she kept training and racing when she could but 2024 marks a new chapter. Sarah's goal to qualify for the 70.3 world championships has never changed but her perspective has and there is a lot more joy, gratitude, and a hell of a lot more fire in her since the accident.
