Fun fact
Before he was an Olympic medalist, Hayden Wilde was a professional landscaper who became the youngest-ever winner of a Coast to Coast category at age 16.
“You shouldn’t be thinking about your goggles when you’re racing,” Wilde said. “Even small distractions can break focus. With these, you put them on and you trust them. There’s no adjusting on the pontoon. It’s just focus and go.”
Hayden Wilde, nicknamed "The Falcon," is an Olympic multi-medalist who captured Bronze in Tokyo 2020 and Silver in Paris 2024 after a legendary battle with rival Alex Yee. He has proven his dominance across every format of the sport, winning the 2021 XTERRA World Championship for off-road racing and the 2022 Super League Triathlon title for short-course speed. His most significant milestone to date occurred in late 2025, when he won the inaugural T100 World Championship in Qatar, crowning a season where he secured six victories out of seven starts on the world tour.
