Olympic Gold Medalist Matt Grevers Joins THEMAGIC5 as Investor
You can tell by his face that Matt Grevers believes in THEMAGIC5. The six-time Olympic medalist and 15-year member of the US National Swim Team has the distinctive goggle tan lines to prove it.

As such an experienced and accomplished swimmer, Grevers knew the value of the technology right away but it wasn’t just about the benefits as an elite swimmer. “I saw an older lady wearing three different types of goggles at the pool and she told me ‘I just can’t get these goggles to fit’. I had just tried THEMAGIC5 so I told her about them and that they guarantee they won’t leak. I saw her two weeks later and she thanked me. She didn’t hug me but it looked like she wanted to hug me,” Grevers laughs, “she was so excited that they fit and didn’t leak.”
Seeing the potential of THEMAGIC5 technology made him want to be involved beyond an athlete relationship to become a valuable equity partner. “I believe in their product and I believe I can have a positive impact to make their product more valuable and have more exposure,” Grevers says. “There’s a great need of this technology in the swimming world and then beyond. Outside the pool, Grevers works in real estate and business investment. Bringing together swimming and business, Grevers says, “is the best of both worlds.” Grevers says swimming prepared him well for the business world and, as an experienced captain of Team USA, he knows the success of a great product comes from a great team behind it.
