NEW YORK, NY - April 2nd, 2025 - Life could be about to change for the world's
one billion people suffering from sleep apnea - including more than 30 million in the
U.S.
THEMAGIC5, a world leader in custom-fitting technologies, has already redefined
the swim goggle industry with their advanced customization technology. In 2021, this
led to a million dollar investment on Shark Tank from investors Mark Cuban and
Robert Herjavec.
Now, THEMAGIC5 will leverage their unique skills in facial scanning and fitting
technology to venture into the massive global market of sleep tech and treatment of
Sleep Breathing Disorders. The team has joined forces with leading sleep medicine
entrepreneur David Walton, founder of Respire Medical, to form the new company
Vayu Sleep.
The number one problem in treatment of sleep disorders is mask discomfort, which
contributes to up to 70% of patients quitting the gold standard CPAP treatment.
Vayu Sleep’s platform will allow patients to complete a simple facial scan with their
phone, THEMAGIC5’s patented Optimal Fitting Technology will design and
customize the nasal-mask, and it will ship directly to the patient within 5 days from
initial scan.

gained detailed expertise in the variance of facial features. But just like you can’t fit
70 million swimmers into one standard goggle, you can’t fit millions of sleep patients
