Speed, power, and race pace training are important for developing your fast twitch fibers, and the ability for quick bursts of speed, or sustaining submax paces for longer.

DALY Tip 1: 1-2 weekly shorter high intensity sprint sessions
DALY Tip 2: 2 weekly strength and power sessions
DALY Tip 3: 1-2 weekly mid distance race pace sessions
