THEMAGIC5 are excited to announce a new partnership with professional British triathlete Emma Pallant-Browne who is set to make history during the 2025 season. The three-time duathlon world champion and 22-time half ironman champion is tied as the most winning female in history at the half ironman distance, a race that includes 1.9km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, and 21.1km of running. With only one more Ironman 70.3 win needed to take the title, THEMAGIC5 are proud to support Pallant-Browne as she is poised to take her place in the history books as the most winning female ever at the 70.3 distance.

THE MIDDLE DISTANCE CROWN

“A stats guy wrote and showed I was level on 70.3 wins with Daniela Ryf so this year Jaryd [her husband] was like you have to win another.”

Now-retired Daniela Ryf, who Pallant-Browne is currently tied with, is a legend of the sport with 5 x Ironman and 5 x Ironman 70.3 world championships to her name. Pallant-Browne raced the Swiss athlete many times throughout her career, most notably finishing second to her at the 2017 Ironman 70.3 World Championships. 

“​​To win the most 70.3s to me would be really special because triathlon is a really hard sport, so much can go wrong and combine that with the travel, even things like getting sick on the plane, your bike arriving in one place etc. it would be testimony to the amazing people I have on my team. The sponsors, friends and family, the amount of time I’m away and special moments in their lives I’ve had to say no to, it takes a lot of sacrifice and nice to have something to show for it.”

After struggling with a gut tear that made the 2024 season difficult, the 35-year-old has taken a stringent performance-first approach to her 2025 sponsorship contracts. That meant saying no to some sponsorships and only selecting the best products.

“ We've cut back a little on sponsorship and I've focused on more on the products that I need and the sponsorships that I really think I can be of value, but also value to other people.”

“ I've got to the point in my career where, thankfully, I’m making the prize money to be able to fund my career. It’s getting closer and closer in the races and it has to, at some point, be all about performance. What product is going to get you faster, what product is going to be the best for races, so you can keep getting those results.”
